Prayers Please

Well, Mel's water broke at 0230 this AM.  We're on L & D.  She's started on Mag, abx, & steroids.  They're trying to keep them in until the steroids can take effect--one more dose tomorrow am then hopefully a period of 24 hrs.  They will be born before she leaves the hospital, and it will be by 34 wks, or they will induce.  That's about all we know right now.  Just resting, praying, and waiting.

Were a little in shock.  We're so glad they were in the 70 some percentile for weight at their past growth scan.  Today is my b-day, and this is not what I was expected.  Haha.  ; )

Update:

Thanks for all the support.  We really appreciate it.  We've had a rough night without sleep.  The contractions were increased so they increased the Mag and gave terbutaline.  Since that, they have slowed & we just got the 2nd steroid shot in @ 0415.

Now it will be a wait & see.  I hope they stay in at least a couple more days.  They say each day inside is 2 less in NICU.   They seem good on the monitor, and hopefully we can get a nap in now.  : )
