Boy name! Meant to be?

Hi all-

So my DH and I have been struggling to come up with a name for our sweet little boy. About 3 days ago he said the name Grant. It was the first name that we both agreed on. I wasn't completely sold on it but I didn't dislike it either. 

THEN, yesterday my mom called me and out of nowhere said, "What about the name Grant?" 

OMG! It is like it is meant to be that this should be his name now!! 

What do you ladies think?!

I really like that name!! My sister had a friend growing up named Grant (male) and he was the cutest thing!

I also like the name Cameron for a boy...that was one of our choices but then we found out we were having a girl

I like it.  A friend's son is named Grant and while it isn't overused, it isn't an off the wall, out there kind of name either.

I've only known 1 Grant my whole life, and while he was a unique kid, I always thought he had the coolest name!

It was #155 in popularity in 2010 (most recent available), but I am going to guess it is gaining steam as most surnames-as-first-names are.

We're debating between 2 names and Grant is one of them.  We really like it!

I love Grant!  It is our top choice right now, but I also really like Brooks and Noel so we haven't settled yet. (I love Noel, but DH thinks people will say Noelle). I don't love that it is ranked in the top 200 and probably going to be even high this year.  I am going to wait for the social security list to be released in May.  Both Reed and PIerce are in the 400 range, which I prefer.
