OB/GYN Recs?

I'm new to the DC area, and looking for an OB/GYN. My husband and I are TTC. I went to Georgetown for a pre-conception appointment but it took nearly 2 months for my pap results and the doc didn't run any bloodwork or other tests. Any recommendations for a DC OB/GYN? Preferably, a doctor who is accessible by Metro, if possible!

Re: OB/GYN Recs?

  • I used to go to Capitol Women's Care at 2141 K Street and loved Dr. Julian Safran, but he's gyn only. I don't have personal experience using that practice for OB. They are Farraguts North/West or Foggy Bottom.

This practice shares on call with my doctor in Bethesda and when I was in the hospital, I had a nice experience with Dr. Bajaj.

  • I go to Reiter, Hill, Johnson and Nevin and they're awesome.  They have a DC location (closer to Farragut North), a Chevy Chase/Friendship Heights location (close to Metro) and a Falls Church office, which I don't think is particularly close to a Metro, but it's great.

They're all ob-gyns and were really supportive and helpful for me during the TTC journey.  There are male and female doctors and they're all fantastic.
