Vent - V Day

So, last Mothers Day, DH forgot/didnt/etc get me a card or anything and only got something after I lost it and fell apart.

This V-Day, I got him a card from the kiddos and I got him one and wrote a special note in it.  I got some daiseys (which are fine) and then he says - I didnt get you a card - Hope that is okay? 

Um, NO, it is not okay.  Didn't you learn from Mothers Day?!  So, now he is working and I am working in two different rooms because he needs no TV to work.  Happy lovely VDay to me.

    I'm sorry you didn't get what you wanted :(  You should get 3 cards this mother's day.  One for him messing up last year, one for the v-day mess up, and one for actualy mother's day.  Or jewelry, wine and a night by yourself...that's always what I want :)

    I'm sorry. :( I would be upset too.  I think that guys truly just do not get it sometimes.

    This! Men can be so dense. My husband has screwed up every holiday/event since the beginning. For my first Mother's day, he didn't even ask me what I wanted to do. He made plans with his mother where everyone bought presents for his mother and sister in law, and no on even as much as told me happy mother's day. Then they don't get why we break down?? I'm so sorry Sad
