I've always thought the name Kelsey was kind of ugly. Sorry. Elizabeth is okay, but definitively not a favorite. Kelsey Elizabeth does have a nice flow. Good luck!
Kelsey and Chelsea are very popular with the junior high and high school set. As a teacher I know way too many. It's not my style, but it sounds nice with Elizabeth.
I love the name Kelsey. I also like the spelling Kelsie which is legit but not as common. I agree that it may not age as well as more "classic" names, but that doesn't bother me.
Well...every Kelsey I've ever known has been kind of a "mean girl," so I have a negative connotation with the name, but surely not all Kelseys out there are mean girls, right?
My name is a very youneek spelling of Kelsey. When I lived in the north I never heard it but now that I live in the south it is a lot more common. I like my name even though I am a little partial. My only issue is I think it is kind of dated for a 2012 baby...

I'm not a fan of Kelsey, it's too cutesy imo.
I think that Chelsea Elizabeth would be a lovely alternative. Similar sound, but more classic and ages well into adulthood.
