My 4 week old has somehow managed to roll over on his side all the way in to the side of his crib. I don't have a bumper, thank God. But, last time it happened his arm was sticking out from the slats. It's happened about 4 or 5 times over the last couple of days. I find him on his side with his face up against the side almost every time I go in to feed him in the night (every 3 to 4 hours).
Is this normal or do most babies just stay in one place when they sleep?
Also, we have been doing a 1/2 swaddle until now (under the armpits so the arms are free). Do you think I should do away with this and just put him in a sleep sack? We didn't like the sleep sack much because it's hard to get him in it after the middle of the night feedings without completely waking him up.
Thanks!
