We are having a few poepl over tomorrow for pizza and to take the kids trick-or-treating. I wanted to have some cookies on hand for desert. I was planning to do oatmeal raisn - quick and easy - but just want to start and realized I don't have enough oatmeal left.
Chocolate chip, or anything chocolate are out, because one of our friends is allergic to chocolate (can you imagine?..) And, peanut butter is out becasue of the little kids. I have all basic ingredients in the house (well, except oatmeal :^( )
DS just went down for a nap. So I have two hours or so. This is my only chance as I have a work function tonight and have to work tomorrow.
Quick, what are your easy, yummy go-to cookie recipes?
Re: need a cookie recipe, quick
I got this e-mail a while back. There are tons of recipes for cookies here.

I hope it works.
One box of cake mix (any flavor)
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup water
1 egg
350 for 15 minutes
I just mixed up sugar cookies and M&M cookies and the dough is chilling in the fridge. Snickerdoodles are easy and YUMMY. My sugar cookies are a bit of a pain because you have to roll them out and use cookie cutters and then frost them, or I'd give you that recipe.
Here's a recipe really close to the snickerdoodles I make (it may even be the same...I just don't feel like going upstairs to get my recipe).
