I think it's really pretty and would probably work pretty well for an adult, but I know a lot of people really strongly dislike it. Just wanted to get your thoughts. For us it would be Serena Claire M.
For me, it's just a "meh" name. It's the name of my dad's first cousin, so for me, it's old enough to not sound fresh, but not old enough to sound new again. I hope that makes sense.
I think Serena Claire sounds good together. And, my dad's cousin is an adult, and I have only ever known her as an adult, so I think it works great for an adult!

I don't dislike Serena. I always think of it a name that had a flare of popularity in the 80's and then died out again...JMO
I prefer more classic names with longevity.
I like how Serena Claire sounds.

It's just not an attractive name to me. And it reminds me of Seinfeld - "Serenity now! Serenity now!" Funny stuff....
