Trouble collecting urine

This is so embarrassing, but I would love to know if anyone else has the same problem as me.  Every time I have to provide urine for collection, no matter how badly I need to go, I can't seem to get enough!  My doctor's office said the small sample I've been providing before all visits is just enough, but if I need to provide more for a clean catch/culture, I can't seem to get enough.  I had to re-do a clean catch today because the last one came back contaminated, and I definitely don't think I provided enough.  They will call me for a re-do if necessary.

Does anyone have any tips for relaxing?  I'm desperate!  I don't want to have to worry about this every time I go to the doctor.

I have a girlfriend about 3 weeks ahead of me with this same issue, so she goes in the day before and gets a cup and goes home, then just brings it with her to her appointment the next day.

Not sure if your doc will let you do this, but maybe try asking, it cant hurt, and you would for sure me more confortable at home in your own toilet!

Thanks for the tip!  I have an appt. Monday and if I have the same issues as I did last time, I will ask if that is an option.

I have a similar problem. My appointments are usually first thing in the morning. But I wake up having to pee first. So by the time I get to the appointment I don't really have anything left. I'm going to ask if there is a sample cup I can take home with me this time around since I'm having so much trouble.
