On my to-do list this month is to start building my library of children's books that talk about adoption. I've found a few via Amazon but it is so hard to tell which ones are the best without reading them. Any recommendations?
We are adopting from Russia so special points for talking about coming from an orphanage/overseas, however I am also a daycare provider and am hoping to use these books to teach all my little ones about the different ways families are built. So really any book that talks about adoption (foster care/domestic/international) is great.
Looking for stories appropriate for 1-5 year olds.
Thanks!

We just purchased Todd Parr's book this weekend. DD1 loves a Todd Parr book we had about hair so we thought it would be a good starting point and it is. For whatever reason, she's very attracted to the pics (she's 14 months old).
We also like All Together Now. It is a super sweet story about a family that doesn't look like one another. Good for adoption.
Todd Parr's We Belong Together (A book about adoption) and The Family Book - both are great. (We actually have about 6 or 7 of his books - dd loves them!)
Tell Me Again About the Night I Was Born
Over the Moon -- just read that this afternoon!
