I just made my first OB appointment for March 1st, at which point I will be 7 weeks pregnant. For those of you who had your first appointment around that time or before, did your doctor do an ultrasound? Is it standard to do an ultrasound at 7 weeks? Or, should I reschedule the appointment for the following week (or later) to up my chances of getting one?

I had my first appointment at 9 weeks 5 days and we got a dating ultrasound.
I wouldn't reschedule your appointment to up your chances of getting one. Every doctor is different. Some only do one ultrasound between 18 and 20 weeks. You'll get one when they feel you need one.

My first appointment is at 7 weeks and I will have a U/S, so I am bringing DH along. I would call and ask tomorrow so you can be prepared:)
I had my high risk consultation at 7w1d and they did an ultrasound to date the pregnancy, even though I knew the dates perfectly. We saw the little baby and the heartbeat!
Mine was transvaginal, in part because I am fat and because it was so early anyway. Abdominally we did see the gestational sac.
