DH's friend from primary school is getting married and we were invited to the wedding. However we aren't able to make it. I've already RSVP'd with our regrets.
We've bought a card and a giftcard ($100) to include. However I have no clue what to write inside. DH says just sign it, but that isn't really my style with cards.
However it being a friend of Dh's who I have met 2 times (once at our wedding and once at another of his friend's wedding) I don't know very much.
I've searched online for sentiments, but they either seem too personal (mushy, etc) or too business and generic.
The card reads: on the front: "A wedding wish" and inside: "May your wedding be just the beginning of a love filled life together."
Any help would be great! Thanks!
Re: Need help with card message- wedding related.
Dear Jane and John,
Thank you for inviting us to be a part of your wedding celebration. Even though we are not able to attend, (YH and Y) wish you many years of happiness. Best of luck on the big day!
With Love,
You and Your Husband
Awesome! Thank you! Nice and simple! Usually I am better at these things. But the not being able to go and not knowing them well blocked my brain.
