I'll post the whole birth story in a couple of days but here's a quick summary. I am totally loving being a mother to this amazing, beautiful little girl!
Ariana Elise was born on Monday, Feb. 6 at 5:02 pm. She was 7.9 lbs and 20.4 inches. From the time I arrived to the time she was born, I was only at the center for about 2.5 hours. (I'll elaborate on that in the birth story. She was turned face up but rotated herself to the correct position on her way out. She was also born with her hand up by her face. Even through all that, I was able to go through the whole thing naturally and without a tear or anything. I did have some scary issues with my placenta and bleeding after the birth but my midwife was awesome and knew how to handle it. My birth experience was amazing and I recommend the birthing center to anyone who is considering it.
Ariana is a happy girl who usually just cries when hungry or needs a new diaper. She's a champion nurser and is a pretty good sleeper. When i have more time I'll post the whole story. For now, just wanted to pop in and let you all know we're doing great!
Re: Ariana is here!

Welcome Ariana!
Lovely name. Our daughter's share a middle name. So glad you had a wonderful experience at the birthing center. I also had a great experience there, complete with similar (it sounds) scary placenta/bleeding issues after the birth. They were so confident and in control that I never felt in danger, although I might have been out of it from the blood loss.
Congratulations, Mama! You did it!
