We're planning to re-use them. They'll be sterilized so I don't see the problem. Well, the only thing I can think of is whether or not the plastic will begin to breakdown after a certain length of time (like pacifiers should be replaced every 3 months, kinda thing)... ?
In general, plastics degrade over time, so if you had plastic bottles and nipples they should probably be replaced. In our case, I bf to a year, we had glass bottles and silicone nipples and they were rarely used so are still in excellent condition. I could probably reuse the nipples with no qualms. But, it's pretty cheap to replace them so I probably will.
Re: Reusing bottle nipples for LO#2?
We didn't, just ran them through the dishwasher. We did buy her new pacis, though.
