DS is Michael. We are expecting boy #2 and because our last name starts with Gun... I do not want a name that ends in a c/k/t sound. I just think it sounds too harsh going from that sound to the hard G sound.
It would be helpful to know a few other names that are your style since Michael, while a nice name, is pretty common and traditional and could be anyone's style. I'm going to go with you liking more common traditional names and suggest:
I think we'd go with something more traditional - but lots of the basics are already covered in the family. I have a very hard first name to spell and really don't wish that upon this little guy. DH's brother is David, dad is Thomas, etc.
I do like Nathan, Joshua, Ryan, Travis. DH was suggesting Milo, Mitchell. He was on an M kick the other night with name suggestions for unknown reasons.
I really like the Ethan suggestion too. Thanks for the advice.
