Need advice

O.k. SO Monday night I started having contractions, thankfully it was due to the fact that I hadn't drunken enough and was trying to fight off a bladder infection, BUT my BP spiked AND I started feeling like CRAP, so they said we are just going to keep you and see what happens well keeping me turned into you are not leaving this hospital till your BP goes down SO needless to say they finally discharged me yesterday but said you go home and lay down only getting up to use the bathroom and taking a shower once a day.. Now that I said this I have to kiddos at home one who is 4 and another who is 2.5 but Autistic, needless to say today has been rough.. I am not to sure what I can do to help my kids i tried having snacks and little toys by my side, but that still has not been the best... Any other mom's run into this problem??? any tips, tricks, advice is wanted and very much appreciated!!!

    I haven't been through this, but just wanted to offer sympathy because that does sound really rough.  Do you have friends/family who are around to help out?  I know it's not ideal, but I think there's nothing wrong with extra time for the kiddos in front of a movie in situations like this.

    That is rough! I would see if you can get anyone to come and help out, maybe someone your younger son knows so its not too overwhelming? Do have family near by that could be there with you? Also, what pp said about a movie, etc, maybe have your DH bring home some new coloring books or puzzles etc that would be easy for them to do on their own, plus they will be really into it since its a new thing.

    I don't have any advice (pps' suggestions seem good)... just wanted to wish you luck and health.  It sounds like a challenging situation.

    Oh no! I'm sorry, I don't have any advice other than what pp's have said about finding help, but I wanted to let you know I'll be sending thoughts and prayers your way!

    Oh my gosh you ladies are great!!! I finally caved and let my oldest watch Netflix lots of PBS shows...  But after the weekend I told the Hubby we had to get a sitter or they had to go to a friends house by my husbands work cause as much as I love my kids it has been WAY to hard on me.... LOL.. You know I thought being able to take it easy and not do anything would be easy..... YEAH nope...LOL it is really hard...LOL
