The time is going so fast...PIP

Tonight before bed, LO was especially snuggly.  He's been so squirmy lately, wanting to roll around and scoot around the room, that he rarely just wants to snuggle.  If we're standing up, he's ok, but when we sit down he just wants to wiggle. DH caught this picture tonight (sorry I look a HOT mess -- I am usually the one taking the pictures, so when I make an appearance I try not to focus on my hot mess self) and it made me realize, the time is going so fast.  Before I know it he'll be too big to want to snuggle with mommy...reminds me to slow down and cherish this time!

All of this! I keep saying all the time that my baby won't be my baby anymore, but DH said she'll always be our baby, whether she is 7 months or 70 years

Honestly, he's probably right. But, she won't always fit into a infant car seat, which is exactly what I was thinking today while my husband was carrying her around in it. And it made me a little wistful already. The joys of being a mom, right?

Do you think its a snuggly stage? DD snuggled for an hr AWAKE all this week in the evening. DH is at work during those times but he witnessed it today and was also shocked. It's Definately sweet

Thanks ladies (PJs courtesy of the children's place -- I love getting a great deal and finding something different for DS to wear).  Maybe it is a snuggly phase...DH was shocked he snuggled for so long without any extra entertainment!
