Did anyone have an amnio at 38 weeks?

Were your baby's lungs mature?  I have to have one on Wednesday due multiples issues I'm having with my heart.  Any advice/tips/experience is greatly appreciated!

    I had one at 37 and they were not developed. I had one at 38 and they were! I had a little boy and have heard that the lungs develop slower in boys.

    I'm supposed to have one with this pregnancy. The doctor felt anytime before 36-36.5 weeks would prove the lungs were not developed. I did have my daughter at 38 weeks before my scheduled c/s because my water broke. She was just fine! Best of luck to you!

    I didn't have an amnio at any point (knock on wood), but DD came before her scheduled date (water broke) at 38 wks, 3 days and her lungs were fine.
