Especially compared to Old Navy maternity? I know ON tends to run big (I swim in the xxl and I'm definitely plus sized) and while I like their stuff, I would like more options. Motherhood's stuff is too dowdy.
I, too, think gap runs bigger.. But I absolutely LOVE my gap jeans and my soft gap long sleeves shirts!

I think it depends on what you get. I have 2 pairs of Gap jeans, one in my regular size, one I bought a size down and they both fit great. The tank tops made for layering run true to size, but are a little thinner than the ON ones. The other shirts I have are a little big now in my regular size, but I figured they'll fit later (21 weeks now). I would recommend reading the reviews for each individual item you want online, because they'll tell you whether to get your regular size or size down.
I have 4 pairs of gap maternity jeans/cords, and just ordered my first pair of black slacks.
I have one in my pre-pg size (size 4), and they were bigger than expected. They "fit" as in stay up, but look saggy/droopy for the most part. The other three are in size 2, and they fit perfect. So my recommendation might be to order a size down??? But everyone's different... pants are so difficult to begin with anyways.

The run about a size large in my experience. I love them though. And the quality is a million times better than Motherhood and Old Navy (despite ON and Gap being the same company).

Strange I don't think it runs large at all. I was a size 8 and about 5'4" pre-pregnancy and I bought size 8 pants and all size mediums shirts. Same as I would prior and they fit great! Most, if not all of my maternity clothes are from Gap so I can't really compare it to anything else. Hope this helps!
