So sick of False Labor...

My DS was born right at 35 weeks and I have had lots of the same symptoms with this one (lots of BH contrax), and had started dilating at my 32 week appt, so I am kind of expecting new baby pretty much any day now. But I swear, this baby is driving me nuts with false labor!!!

Last weekend, I started having contractions at 11:30pm, they got closer and closer till at 4AM they were 6 minutes apart-then at 4:30AM, they disappeared. No sleep for me that night.

Last night, I started timing my contractions around midnight, they were 5-6 minutes apart all night long and while I could still walk and talk through them, they were painful enough they would wake me up the couple of times I did fall asleep. I figured since they weren't debilitatingly painful and I am past the point where they would try to stop labor anyway, I would wait till my Dr's office opened at 8:30AM. Wouldn't you know it? At 8:15, my contractions slowed down...

If this baby wants to stay in there longer, have at it! But it needs to quit making me think it's coming and start letting me get some sleep at night. I really hope this doesn't go on for another 4 weeks.

i am with you. same thing here. but to be honest, i would never want my baby at 35 weeks. you still have 5 weeks to go. your baby is still pre-term! i had some 'pre-term' contractions and they had to stop labor at 35 weeks.
