morning sickness starting at second trimester?

this is my third pregnancy. first pregnancy, no morning sickness. second pregnancy i had a miscarriage with no morning sickness. and now i'm pregnant with our second child and i'm 13 weeks. i haven't had any morning sickness whatsoever until this morning. i threw up for the first time and eating meals is getting harder. i've never heard of many women developing morning sickness 13 weeks into pregnancy. is this common?!
