Did you have morning sickness? I think I threw up once between 2 pregnancies.

What was your craziest craving? What did you crave most often? Nothing crazy. I craved red meat/salt with my son, sweets with my daughter.

Were you team green or did you find out the sex? Found out both times. If there's a 3, I will be team green.

Did you get en epi/some other pain med? Did you go in with that as the plan, or did plans change? Had 2 c-sections. Was in labor with my first but never got the epi.

If you were to have another child, would you name them your back up name, or name you had chosen for the opposite sex? I'm not sure if I'll use my backup name. DH liked it when we were pregnant but doesnt like it as much anymore.

How long did you labor at home before going to the hospital? N/A. Induced first time, scheduled c-section the 2nd.

Did you cry the first time you saw LO? A little teary eyed, but not crying.

How long after giving birth did it take you to feel like you again? Like a week the first time around. 8 weeks the second.

Any plans for more LOs? Maybe. I wouldnt consider ttc until the earliest this summer.

Did you have morning sickness?  None with either - that is one thing that kept me from figuring out the 2nd one

What was your craziest craving? What did you crave most often?  With first it was pumpkin ice cream - with second one it was fries because I wasn't supposed to eat them

Were you team green or did you find out the sex?  DH & I both just had to know with both-  with Joshua we found out the sex basically at the same time we confirmed it was a viable pregnancy

Did you get en epi/some other pain med? Did you go in with that as the plan, or did plans change?  I had an epi with Justin and since I was a scheduled RCS with Joshua I had a spinal

If you were to have another child, would you name them your back up name, or name you had chosen for the opposite sex?  No more children for me.  In the 2 days between finding out I was pregnant & getting the ultrasound to confirm all was ok I did find my perfect girl's name but will never get to use it - Madeliene Suzette.  We had a terrible time coming up with a boys name.

How long did you labor at home before going to the hospital?   With Justin it was about 4-5 hours - Joshua was a RCS at 39 weeks so no labor

Did you cry the first time you saw LO?  With Justin I was so exhuasted, scared, etc that I was just relieved.  I did shed a few tears with Joshua and was scared to hold him in the operating room because I was so shakey and was scared I'd drop him.

How long after giving birth did it take you to feel like you again?  With Justin it took 2-3 months.  With Joshua I felt pretty much normal after 4 weeks.

Any plans for more LOs?  Nope- Unless my tubes come untied.

What was your craziest craving? What did you crave most often? No crazy cravings, but I would sneak eat starbursts in the bathroom, 10/15 at a time. Healthy, I know. Lots of time I would wake up in the middle of the night and run the water in the bathroom, so H or SS could not hear me opening the wrappers.

Were you team green or did you find out the sex? Tean Green

Did you get en epi/some other pain med? Did you go in with that as the plan, or did plans change? Had morphine while I was waiting for the epi. Planned all along for the epi.

If you were to have another child, would you name them your back up name, or name you had chosen for the opposite sex? Yes for a boy (Lincoln) No for a girl.

How long did you labor at home before going to the hospital? I was out the door 15 minutes after my water broke.

How long after giving birth did it take you to feel like you again? Had a set back on Valentines day, so well into March/ April.

Any plans for more LOs? No. Will most likely have H get snipped or I will have my tubes tied in the fall. Dr. suggests I wait.

What was your craziest craving? What did you crave most often?  Never had crazy cravings, I did buy sweetarts everytime I went to the grocery store.

Did you get en epi/some other pain med? Did you go in with that as the plan, or did plans change? Got an epi, that was my plan going in.

If you were to have another child, would you name them your back up name, or name you had chosen for the opposite sex?  If it's a boy yes, we didn't have any other girl names.

How long did you labor at home before going to the hospital? Friday night contractions started, we went to hospital, barely 1cm.  Came home, and stayed there until late Sunday night. 

Did you cry the first time you saw LO?  No

How long after giving birth did it take you to feel like you again?  Almost a week after she was born.  I was feeling better from the c-section, I stopped breastfeeding and I had my first glass of wine!  It was a wonderful day!

What was your craziest craving? What did you crave most often? Frozen waffles (Eggos, not heated up). Cheese and pineapple.

Were you team green or did you find out the sex? I found out. I would've lost my mind if I had to wait.

Did you get en epi/some other pain med? Did you go in with that as the plan, or did plans change? Went in wanting the epi and asked for it the second I got there.

If you were to have another child, would you name them your back up name, or name you had chosen for the opposite sex? If #2 had been a boy, we would have named him our boy name from the first time. Since she's a girl, we are using one of the choices we eliminated last time due too popularity. This time we just don't care. We like the name, so we're using it.

How long did you labor at home before going to the hospital? I waited about an hour to wake up DH. It quickly became a frenzy of getting dressed and getting the bag packed. It was about 2.5 hours total before we actually got checked in at the hospital/

Did you cry the first time you saw LO? No. I couldn't stop staring at her and saying how small she was, but managed to not get weepy.

How long after giving birth did it take you to feel like you again? About a month. The first time I left the house alone was like heaven.

Any plans for more LOs? We are done after #2

Did you get en epi/some other pain med? Did you go in with that as the plan, or did plans change? I went in with a whatever happens attitude and got the epi as soon as they would let me.

If you were to have another child, would you name them your back up name, or name you had chosen for the opposite sex? I think we plan to use Connor for a boy, which was our boy name for Emily. Our back up with Emily was Allison and for Aiden was Mia. I'm not crazy about either anymore so we'll probably find a new girl name.

How long did you labor at home before going to the hospital? I had scheduled inductions for my GD with both on my due dates.

Did you cry the first time you saw LO? Bawled with both of them. Didn't expect to with either but it was just so emotional. I can't wait for that again!

How long after giving birth did it take you to feel like you again? With Aiden a couple weeks (minus the ridiculous bleeding til 9 weeks PP) With Emily probably 5 months.

Any plans for more LOs? Not sure if number 3 will be our last or not. We'll decide that when the time comes to plan for #4 or not.

What was your craziest craving? What did you crave most often? Every Sunday with JT we went to the diner and I had waffles and ice cream. Also craved chicken and spinach. This time nothing yet.

Were you team green or did you find out the sex? I could never be team green although I would totally want to be. We found out and will again.

Did you get en epi/some other pain med? Did you go in with that as the plan, or did plans change? Scheduled c-section cause he was sideways. I'm of the go with the flow for this time around, if I can VBAC great, if not, that's ok too.

If you were to have another child, would you name them your back up name, or name you had chosen for the opposite sex? We have the girl name we didn't use for JT, and if it's a boy we are in trouble cause it was hard enough picking JT!

Any plans for more LOs? I hope to be done after #2 which is probably due in September!!

Did you get en epi/some other pain med? Did you go in with that as the plan, or did plans change? With DS I was induced and had no meds until they told me I needed an emergancy C/S. DD was another C/S.

If you were to have another child, would you name them your back up name, or name you had chosen for the opposite sex? We have one of each but if we had another one and it was a boy we would name it DD's boys name.

What was your craziest craving? What did you crave most often?nothing crazy.  kiwi.

Were you team green or did you find out the sex?found out but I wanted to be team green, H couldn't wait though

Did you get en epi/some other pain med? Did you go in with that as the plan, or did plans change?epi, although I was almost fully dialated so I like to think I could have gone without it!  (If there is a next time I like to think I will try natural...but my contractions were damn intense so it's nice to know what the relief of an epi can provide)

If you were to have another child, would you name them your back up name, or name you had chosen for the opposite sex? H and I don't agree on names, so some compromise we both like (which Shiloh was)

How long did you labor at home before going to the hospital?active, hard labor- 3 hours.  In total- probably 17 hours.  My labor was very mild for 12 hours, then, water broke and still not bad for a few hours, then it got intense and painful.

Did you cry the first time you saw LO? I don't think so.  I got teary-eyed but did not actually cry.

How long after giving birth did it take you to feel like you again? a couple weeks.  I was pretty emotional, probably mild baby blues.

Any plans for more LOs? maybe one more, but it's up in the air, and it would only be ONE more.

Did you have morning sickness?  With E, yes.  Even with Zofran I was puking every day my first trimester.  With this one, I had it but nothing to horrible and both times it's gone with the first tri.  The only time I get sick now is if I over eat or don't eat at all. 

What was your craziest craving? What did you crave most often? I'm yet to crave anything crazy with either that I can think of.  With E I always wanted steak or watermelon.  With this one I want buffalo chicken wraps and cookies. 

Were you team green or did you find out the sex? We found out with E and we're still debating for this one.  I'll probably end up finding out just so it gives DH a really special letter/package to look forward to when he deploys.

Did you get en epi/some other pain med? Did you go in with that as the plan, or did plans change? I tried to go natural but I was stuck at 5cm for 6 hours and exhausted from not sleeping for 2 days so I caved, got the epi, and went from 5 to 10 and E out in less then 4 hours.

If you were to have another child, would you name them your back up name, or name you had chosen for the opposite sex?  If this one is a girl we're using the other girls name we choose (Teagen).  We never came up with a boys name last time.

How long did you labor at home before going to the hospital? I started having contractions Tuesday and didn't go to the hospital until 11am-ish Thursday but bad, timeable contractions maybe 12 hours?

Did you cry the first time you saw LO? I honestly don't even remember, probably.  I just remember them laying her on my belly and saying "Oh my god" over and over and DH doing the same thing while turning around to hold back tears. Now I'm crying lol

How long after giving birth did it take you to feel like you again?  I think I was really just starting to feel like me again when I got KU again. So 8-9 months?

Any plans for more LOs? So far just this one. DH wants 1 more in 7-8 years but I'm not anywhere near convinced.

What was your craziest craving? What did you crave most often? Cupcakes, I don't like cake. Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich.

Were you team green or did you find out the sex? We found out the sex ASAP.

Did you get en epi/some other pain med? Did you go in with that as the plan, or did plans change? Yes, I had an Epidural and something else but I can't remember what it was.  I planned on whatever pain medicine they could give me I was going to take lol.

If you were to have another child, would you name them your back up name, or name you had chosen for the opposite sex? We tossed Molly Anne in the air for a girl. My Grandma's first name and Mom's middle name. We weren't set on any girl names.

Did you cry the first time you saw LO? A few tears..I was just so amazed on how handsome he was.

How long after giving birth did it take you to feel like you again? A couple months. Once we figured out what the hell we were doing lol.

Did you have morning sickness? Borderline hyperemesis gravidurum. It was horrible.

What was your craziest craving? What did you crave most often? cream cheese and jelly on a bagel. I ate it almost 4 times a week.

Were you team green or did you find out the sex? We were having twins and I couldn't be team green with two to plan for.

Did you get en epi/some other pain med? Did you go in with that as the plan, or did plans change? First delivery, no meds at all. Second delivery, Magnesium sulfate, morphine and then an epi. Forced. 

If you were to have another child, would you name them your back up name, or name you had chosen for the opposite sex? No. Our second name for a boy went to our other son. We never had a girl name. 

How long did you labor at home before going to the hospital? I didn't. I was on hospital bedrest. I labored in my hospital room for 8 hours and then L&D for 24 more.

Did you cry the first time you saw LO? No. I was in shock. He flew out of me and nearly landed on the floor. They then took him away so quickly to the recussitation room to intubate him... I didn't get to touch him until he was 6 hours old. First time I cried, he was 4 days old, and it was they first time I held him. I was just so overwhelmed.

How long after giving birth did it take you to feel like you again? I still don't. Physically, I felt good the next day. Mentally? It'll take years of meds and therapy to get over what I went through.

Any plans for more LOs? I don't know. We'd love to have a living brother or sister for DS, or even enjoy a full term pregnancy, but it may not be possible to have a full term baby. So I don't know yet.

Did you have morning sickness? I was nauseous a lot in first tri and then from time to time throughout the rest of the pregnancy. Puked once in first tri and then a little in 2nd and 3rd tri. Lots of food aversions though.

What was your craziest craving? What did you crave most often? I wanted lots of peanut butter. I put it on a blueberry waffle at one point. And wanted Reese's Peanut Butter Cups ALL the time. Also could not get enough fruit but it had to be in season. (I usually don't love fruit.)

Were you team green or did you find out the sex? We told people we were team green, but we knew the sex.

Did you get en epi/some other pain med? Did you go in with that as the plan, or did plans change? Planned to go natural, but got an epi 20 hours after my water broke and after being on Pitocin for 15 hours.

If you were to have another child, would you name them your back up name, or name you had chosen for the opposite sex? We didn't really have a backup name.

How long did you labor at home before going to the hospital? I was having contractions for 2 weeks before my water broke. I went to the hospital twice thinking I was in labor.

Did you cry the first time you saw LO? Nope. I think I was really just shocked to see a baby. And I only got to see her for 3 seconds before they took her to the NICU.

How long after giving birth did it take you to feel like you again? Still working on it.

Any plans for more LOs? I used to say that I either wanted 4 or 5 kids or no kids. Now I just have no idea. The idea of going through pregnancy again seems awful. And I just cannot imagine taking care of 2 LOs. But then it makes me sad to think of DD being an only child. Ultimately, I think we'll have at least 1 more, but I don't know when and we might adopt.
