Sickness update

Ugg DH and I both got bad colds this week on the same days. We are usually very healthy people but now with DS in daycare we have gotten sick twice in 2 months.  I had a feaver over 100 on Tuesday night and a sore throat DH had the sore throat but no feaver. I stayed home from work yesterday and today I am feeling much better.  I really hope we kicked this thing and are over it.

Eww, not fun. There is something really nasty going around (I work in healthcare and there is a nasty resipiratory bug that just swept through the office). Ditto PP, get your flu shots! Especially with DS in daycare.

Hope you all feel better soon!  Are you still taking your PNVs?  Those can help make sure you are getting all your nutrients as well.

I've gotten sick more since Cruz than I ever have and dh got sick for the first time in 3 years this year.... guess we will be going for flu shots as I'm sure we will find a way to pick that up too lol!

Yeah I was just telling DH that we should get flu shots this year. I have never gotten one before and it scares me to get it but I know we should.

Oh no!  I hope you guys are all feeling better soon!  It seems like everyone I know has this icky cold!  Remember to ask at Robbie's 6 month appt if he can get a flu shot (6 months old is the min. age)!

I too got quite a number of colds the first few months Miss A was at daycare.  I also noticed it was during the cold season, as soon as the warm months hit, none of us got anything for months!  Now of course being cold again, we have our first colds of the season.  Luckily both of our (mine and Miss A's) are not too bad. 

The Everett Clinic in LS offers flu shots on Wednesdays from 8-5pm.  They said if yu have ins they just bill insurance and there is no co-pay.  Both DH and I were going to go yesterday, but got to busy come 4:30ish.  I'm planning on going the week after next (since next week I'm in Cali)

It's not that bad And I don't like shots one bit.  I get one every year because I have asthma and the flu REALLY knocks me out.
