Still love the song-at the time we couldn't really find a different one that we liked and this one DH used to sing all the time so it was special to us as well.
I found an acoustic version of "Every little thing she does is magic," by the Police, and that was our song. DH is a HUGE Police fan. When we first started dating he said the only band he ever wanted to see live but he knew would never happen was the Police. When they announced they were going to tour one last time I swear he went in the bathroom and cried. haha! Sadly out computer got wiped out, and I have never been able to find the song again.
Our song was 'When you say nothing at all". Very happy with the choice. No flames but we never say I love you. Maybe a dozen times a year. I think too many people just conditioned to the "love you"... "love you too"... all the time. I have never doubted DH's love and we're extremely affectionate, just not verbally
ETA: Yes, I still like this song a lot. DH loved it and had the restaurant where her proposed play it for us right after he asked me. Always reminds me of him.

I LOVE her. The words to song are awesome but most people don't like her. I could have chosen In your eyes by Peter Gabriel or True Companion by Marc Cohen.
It's Your Love....Tim McGraw and Faith Hill....still love, love, love this song! I love the video too, as she was pregnant, and it just made it more powerful, IMO.
I'll Back You Up by DMB. I like it and it has meaning to me now, but I actually like other songs more for a wedding. I really like Don Henley's Taking You Home. Our first dance was the first and only time we have ever danced together.
Re: B/c I should be cleaning...A poll.

I don't want to miss a thing by aerosmith.
Wasn't my choice, DH picked it after he vetoed my suggestions.
We went totally nontraditional and used Rick Astley's together forever. I LOVE it. We had a fairly non-traditional wedding, so it was a great choice.
