Hi ladies, I guess it's about time I joined this board, since I am quickly on my way to 3 under 2!!!!! DS1 will be about 22 months when the twins arrive, and boy is my life about to get crazy
I'm sure I will be calling on you ladies often for advice, so I have to say thank you in advance!
I do already have a question, about reusing bottles/nipples and pacifiers. With DS1 everything was always washed and thrown in the sterilizer after use. Still, I wonder what's reusable and what's not. I'm thinking I should buy new nipples and pacis for the babies, but are the bottles and rings and all still good? Any thoughts? DS did both BM and F, so the bottles are still in good shape, and they are compatible with my pump. But I've heard nipples break down over time, and I figure the same for pacis.
Thanks for any advice!
Re: Intro and ? about bottles/pacifiers
As for the bottles, I definitely reused everything including the nipples. My theory was what if DS doesn't like the same bottles my DD did and I just wasted all that money on nipples? I would just buy them when I knew what bottles DS liked. Good thing I did too!! DS ended up being tongue tied and couldn't latch on the bottles my DD used (wide neck Born Free). He needed a standard (small) nipple so we went with the Playtex Ventaires instead. I'm so happy I didn't waste that money on new nipples!!
