Cloth Diapering

? about CD safe diaper ointment.

We use rarely use a cream but when we do, it's "CD safe". I have always used a liner thinking that CD safe meant that it wont stain, but will cause repelling. Is that even true? Should I use a liner when using a safe cream or is OK to skip it? We use Weleda Baby Calendula Cream.

Re: ? about CD safe diaper ointment.

  • As long as you're using it sparingly, it's probably fine without the liner. We've used coconut oil and Live Clean Baby cream from the beginning and haven't had any problems related to those.

    Thanks!

  • I'm not CD-ing yet, but I bought the Gro-Via Miracle stick (ointment) with the understanding that it's good to use with CD without liners. Not sure if you've checked it out or not.
