Canada Babies

Happy Thursday, its almost Friday!

I'm super excited today. Its my Mom's birthday and my brother is picking up his son early so he can be at dinner tonight. He's 15 months old and is sooooo much fun. I love playing with him. Can't wait for work to be over so I can see him.

Another great thing is that my dad is watching him tomorrow while my brother is working, and if my dad has to go to work, I will get to spend the day with him tomorrow too.

How are your weekend plans shaping up? Anyone have any vents, or discussions they want to start.

  • Yay to almost Friday! Sounds like you get to be around a lot of cuteness this weekend.

Let's see, tomorrow I am going to visit a GF and I get to see her 4 month old baby and then at night I have my final regular seasom hockey game before the playoffs. Saturday we have my BIL's going away party. He's off to (I'm gonna spell this wrong) Afganistan for 9months. We are going to miss him so much. Then Sunday we have a big family dinner. Such a busy weekend.

Saturday is gonna suck too because a friend of mine has to put down his dog. He's had the dog since she was a pup and she's getting old and having issues. He's going to be so upset. I told him to come to the party but he insists he's leaving the area. I kind of don't want him to because I'm going to worry because he's upset and driving. Oh well, not much I can do but hope for a bad weather so he won't leave the niagara region.

  • Megs, that's such a sad start to the weekend. And you spelled Afganistan correctly. Hope the party goes off well, Afganistan's rough. DH is applying for a job based out of there, but we'll see how it goes.

DH, DS and FIL are going out to a hockey game Friday. I get to clean the house (yay, not) and get ready for a double birthday party Saturday and a sleep over. K and T have birthdays a day apart. The sleep over is a bunch of giggly 10 year olds.

Sunday is the day to tackle all the packing boxes in the garage. Shoot me now. If we can get through a bunch I'll be exstatic, but I put unpacking up their with toilet cleaning. But, it's like a band aid, do it quick and it's less painful.

Most definitely. My BIL is excited to go... he has been delayed a few times because he's too valuable here. As for my friend with the dog. He was a little bit of a mess. He did end up leaving town. He drove up to Collingwood for the weekend. He came to say by to me at the party Saturday which I was thankful for. He ended up Skiing yesterday... so jealous. He had a rough time going into his place last night tho with the dog not being there. I'm sure he will be fine in a couple days. We are hanging out tomorrow so I'm going to give him the biggest hug ever.
