This day is sucking HARD

L woke up early and wouldn't go back to sleep.

I feel like absolute shizz...to the point that I dozed off on the couch while L was playing...during which time he spilled my water on the floor, pooped, and got every.single.toy. out.

I have a TON of things to do and my *awesome* H decided without consulting me that "since I'm home today anyway" he would schedule the gas company to come for some stupid gauge change-out or something.  They're coming between 8 and 12.  Seriously?!  They SO better show up in the earlier part of that window because I have several errands to run and L naps right after lunch until 3:30 or 4.  So, essentially, my ENTIRE day is probably shot.

L is still really cranky and SUPER whiny.  Plus, he's started this NO!-response-to-everything thing and it's driving me nuts.

  • No way, that sweet little face can't be cranky!  I don't see it.

Gotta love the NO stage.  Love it.  Apparantly it doesn't ever end.

  • I am with you on the "no" thing

    Do you want Breakfast? NO

    Are you hungry? NO

    Do you want juice? NO

Do you want to read a book? NO

And on, and on and on and on...

  • I have never had a repair/delivery man show up anymore than 5 minutes before that window closed.  Seriously...I hate it.
  • Maybe law will take an early nap and wake up early so you can run errands at 2:00ish instead of waiting until 3:00??  And you can nap with him??

that really stinks though.  It will get better!

  • yup.  no is fun isn't it?  ds said no to everything i asked the other day so i finally asked if he knew why he was saying no.  his response - "no." and then he started laughing.
  • Sorry you don't feel good/sleepy. Can you say screw the errands and just do them tomorrow...then when he goes down for a nap you can too?
