Yeah, in the advice post below, she says that. Try Google and you will get a lot of information. He has a book. Personally, I would never "Ferberize" (do you remember the Meet the Fockers sequel, where they were doing that). And it is especially inappropriate at 0-3 months as our babies are... even he does NOT recommend it that early.

Thank you! I did look it up, it's interesting, but I agree a little inappropriate for that early. Well I was curious to say the least :-)
I don't blame you, we all want sleep! Maybe you could try posting on one of the older month boards (like 12-24) or the parenting board to ask for sleep method recommendation or advice. You might get a well-rounded group of opinions so you can find one to think about trying (eventually) that suits your style. Personally, I read a lot of books about the topic and incorporate different parts of different ones... just like I do with discipline books. And to be honest, the techniques I employ, and their effectiveness differ by child.
Fortunate to be a SAHM to my 3 musketeers (5/2006, 5/2010 & 12/2011).
Soy & dairy free for the 3rd and final time.
While Ferber shouldn't be done this early, it isn't just locking your baby away and letting them cry. If you actually took the time to read the book, there are many different methods. We don't do cio in our house (well, until ds was about 2 and knew what he was doing and it was all tantrums because it was bedtime) but we did Ferberize a bit.

Here is a link to Babycenter's explanation of Ferber: https://www.babycenter.com/0_the-ferber-method-demystified_7755.bc
