J has been driving me crazy lately by not napping at daycare. AT ALL. So he gets home super exhausted, we have to put him to bed at 6, it sucks all around.
Today, I'm teleworking, and I work two minutes away from daycare, so I figured I'd go get him for lunch and have him nap here (he always naps at home).
So far, since being put in his crib, he has:
And is now just laying there singing and kicking the crib. So much for that plan!
P.S. I was pretty proud of myself, though. After he had taken off his sleep sack for the 4th or 5th time, I remembered reading on here to put it on him backwards. So hilarious watching him try to grab the zipper and failing completely.
Re: foiled!
LOL - your story made me laugh! DD is VERY similar - by the end of the week, she is F-R-I-E-D. However, there are days where i know she's exhausted and she's just singing to herself in the crib, happy as a clam.
Good on you for the plan - i'm convinced that kids are always one step ahead of us ;-)
I was dying. He kept reaching down between his legs to grab it like--I know it's down there somewhere!
I take it all back . . . he just conked out after being in his crib for two hours (with me going in and out). He fights sleep like no one's business!

at least you know it isn't just daycare! glad he's finally asleep - hope it's a nice looooong nap.
This is freaking brilliant. My girls never tried to take theirs off, but I can tell already DS will be the type to try!
