I have a phone interview in an hour with the HR department of another hospital I applied to. It is a women's hospital so I would only be doing OB work there!
Anyways, interviews make me nervous .. what are some questions you think they might ask?
I know before I got my job here they asked
What is most important to you/what are you looking for in a job?
and What would you do if you thought one of your coworkers were doing something unethical?
I'm trying to think of good responses and jot them down. Any ideas would be appreciated! ![]()
Re: Phone Interview
Sorry no ideas as I haven't interviewed in a long time and I hate them as well. I just applied for a job last night though in a different field than I'm in now and nervous about the possibility of interviewing.
Most importantly I wanted to wish you good luck.
I'm an ultrasound tech.
Sadly, they just called and said they filled the position internally with one of their sister hospitals. Bummer
I guess I will stay on the lookout! I'm happy with the place I currently am, but am hoping to move once DH graduates in July and this other hospital was a better location.
Thanks for the good lucks & happy thoughts though guys
I had 5 phone interviews for my job (I'm a dietitian). I kept several papers in front of me with big bolded key words that I wanted to make sure I said. Things like, responsible, ethical, blah blah blah. I get flustered easy and it was nice to just be able to look down and see those words pop out at you.
I googled sample interview questions to practice with. You never know what anyone is going to ask but it's a good idea to practice talking about yourself and start thinking of real world examples of situations you have been in.
Here's an example:

Good luck!
