Cloth Diapering

On to wetbags....

I am almost done with collecting my stash. I just need a few more covers but I am waiting to see what I get for my shower. So with my diapers almost done, I am focusing on wetbags. What exactly do I need? I have planning on having a trash pail with liners in the bedroom. What do I need for going out and such? TIA

Re: On to wetbags....

  • 2-3 medium sized wetbags and the 2 pail liners.

I just bought whatever came up on deal sites. I have fuzzibunz wet bags from ecobabybuys.com, and they've been fine.

  • I would highly recommend the Fuzzibunz hanging diaper pail...I LOVE ours!  Its so convenient, they can also hold A LOT!  :)  We have two, one for downstairs and one for his room.  I have a Planet Wise diaper bag and I can honestly tell you I don't like it...it has a zipper instead of elastic on the top so its kind of inconvenient.  You will also need a smaller one for your diaper bag, one that you can carry around when you go out.  Fuzzibunz has some but I haven't tried them out. GL!! :)

  • I actually really like our PlanetWise bags. We have two large and two medium - this way we have a back up for wash days. We don't use a pail but rather hang a large bag from a door knob. The medium bag is for the diaper bag.

  • I only have 2 large wetbags for going out. If I don't need them, then they just stay folded up, but they're large in case of emergency. Plus, I didn't want a bunch of different sizes. I do have a medium, but i just don't reach for it as often.

  • I love our Planet Wise wet bags! We have two hanging wet/dry bags that we just hang from doorknobs and rotate as we wash. The size is also great to take with us for weekends away. We have a large Monkey Foot wet/dry bag for longer day outings and a medium Planet Wise wet/dry bag as well as a small Itti Bitti wet bag for shorter trips out of the house. We totally don't need that many, however...I just went a bit overboard!
  • I really like out planetwise wetbags. I have two of the large hanging wet/dry bags. I have a med. WAHM wetbag that I keep in the diaper bag.

I always keep the large one unzipped, and have never had any issue with stink, and then it's not a pain when I have to put one in there.

  • I have to say - I have a lot more wetbags than other people it seems and I feel like I need more. I have 2 planetwise pail liners which I like. I have two smaller wetbags (MFD and Bummis) for the diaper bag. I need two to rotate them for laundry days. I have 2 medium ones (MFD and planetwise) that stay in the bathroom (rotated for laundry days) for poop diapers. There is no wiggle room for slacking on laundry with this number.
