Last night on the news there was a story about a baby (not Zach) dying in an unlicensed daycare (ours is not licensed) then I come on this morning and see the porn post, though I did not see the actual pics and now some of the responses to the how to talk to kids post, it's just more than I can take. My chest is tight, I am shaking and fighting back tears. I am so tempted to go into my bosses office and quit right now so I can keep Logan in a bubble forever and never let anyone near him. Could the June moms just buy a farm and we could all live there together and never let anyone bad near our LOs?

I'm in. We had an arrest yesterday of an elementary teachers aide who was caught with pics of him spanking naked kids in his classroom.
DH says Cammie isn't allowed out of the house until she's 30. And then only with both of us.
Seriously. Let's do it.
I can not watch the news anymore...there are too many crazy people out in the world today.

Haha!!
I was just thinking it's like that movie The Village.
I really don't know how I can continue to work. I feel like I am going to throw up and I didn't even see the pictures. How the F am I supposed to read articles about grass all day when I am freaking out. I really shouldn't quit now, right? The Bump should provide therapy for this.
ETA: Normally I would call DH when I freak out but I don't want this in his head too.
Baha I can totally picture it. Sad though, the poster was from thebump. Honestly, this is why I wouldn't do the bumpie spotlight. I can only imagine a creeper stalking us and doing something crazy.
Ok, Gwyneddlesliegrace had me at chickens, but now I'm REALLY down. Can we please have some goats, too, so that I can make goat cheese?

I think I love you! Do you actually know how to make goat cheese or is this something you'll learn out of necessity. If you know how already we need to talk.
Vomit. I want to print all of these posts and bring them to my pastor. Seriously. I hate this stupid stupid world.
I am a helicopter mom and proud. At least I will know she is ok.
Hahaha. YES!
My parents are seriously looking at buying acreage with 2-4 houses on it, so that all of us kids, and our families can live there. It's not something I plan on doing, but a commune is apparently easier than you would think.

I am so in - how awesome would that be? (I, too, have been crying off and on all morning - and did not see the pictures, thank God.) We're definitely considering homeschool more and more...
PLUS... think of how much time we'll save not bumping!

I have made soft goat cheese and it's awesome! I've been wanting to get into making hard cheeses, but a cheese press is kind of an investment. I've been trying to talk DH into building me one, but it's not really high on his "projects priority list."
I buy my cheese making supplies from https://www.cheesemaking.com/ . She offers workshops on it, too, which I would LOVE to do but she's about 3000 miles away from me. *sigh*
