Local Bradley classes - question

Did anyone take a Bradley class? I looked online and found 2 in Austin, but I'm wondering if there are others out there, or if you could recommend your instructor. I wish there was a Bradley light/basics. While I'm sure we'll enjoy going to the classes - 12 weeks is a big time commitment.

We took a Bradley Class with Chan Mcdermott back in '09. The classes covered the bradley method (relaxation, positions, etc), nursing and basic infant care. We enjoyed the class and it definitely prepared us for a med-free birth.

Have you considered hypnobirthing? The classes are 5 weeks.

I second Chan McDermott.  We took a class with her in '06 and it was great.  Even DH liked it.

You can look up the certified local instructors on the Bradley web site. There are about 5 or 6 in the Austin area. We're attending a class in Northeast Austin right now.

Oh, and although it's not exactly approved of by the Bradley foundation people, my instructor has combined some of the classes in the same night, so we're going for 8 weeks, but some nights we're there for a little bit longer than 2 hours.
