Video monitor for 2 question

We have a summer infant video monitor. My parents got it for us online and it's not like any of the models you see in store. Do you think there's any way to find another camera for it? Will any summer infant camera work since it's in the same house?

Which one do you have? We have the Best View, but it's the previous model (they revamped it in 2011, I think, and we got it in 2010).  I contacted Summer Infant and they no longer make or sell the 2010 Best View cameras, and they confirmed that the new Best View cameras are not compatible with previous models. WTF? It's so annoying. I'm not sure what we'll do for #2 yet.

I would look on eBay or Craigslist. People are always looking to get rid of their monitors. The model # should be somewhere on the monitor itself...

There is a camera one and camera two option on mine.  Jsut look it up online

It will depend on the specific model. The Summer Infant monitor we previously had was an older version and they no longer made the cameras for it. We ended up buying a Levana monitor instead after DD2 was born as it accomodates up to 4 cameras.

We have the summer slim and secure and I have two cameras now and one monitor works like charm. Check on amazon to see if your model sell a second camera I bet it does.
