I love Gideon and Larkin. I remember reading a Patricia MacLachlan book when I was a kid that had a character named Larkin and I loved it so much. I had almost forgotten about it- so happy this post reminded me!
I'm pleased that so many here like Gideon. It's the only boy name DH and I can even kind of agree on, but I'm worried it's a little odd. It's not my favorite name, but DH and I have extremely different tastes when it comes to boys' names. We could name about 7 girls with no problems, but we better only have one boy (who would then be Gideon), or the second one may remain unnamed.

I know that Gideon and Gannon are legit names, but they are NMS at all.
"A new baby is like the beginning of all things--wonder, hope, a dream of possibilities."
1. Only two of those names are misspelled.
2. Apparently, having a "bad" name doesn't affect you success.
