Lentil Lovers come in :)

I picked up a pack of sprouted green lentils yesterday b/c I wanted to make soup.

I found a recipe I think I want to use, but it calls for red lentils. I don't want to go back to the store. Can I sub green for red?

Do you have a lentil soup recipe that is easy? here's what I was going to make:

  • I would think so just be aware that red lentils aren't split so they have a shorter cooking time. Green lentils taste a little more hearty(?) or earthy than the red ones but I think it'll be fine.
