We are going to take a parent tot swimming class soon and they said DD needs to wear a re-usable swim diaper. There is a huge fee if she has an accident so now I want to make sure to use a good swim diaper. I have an iplay swim diaper but we have never used it. Do the iplay diapers work or do you have another rec?

Re: Re-usable Swim Diapers?
I've never really like the iPlay diapers. We used a BumGenius one size shell as a swim diaper. Don't put the inserts in them. It will contain any #2 accidents.
Disposable swim diapers don't hold in urine, just poo. We had success with the cloth diaper shell.
We used this one the most last summer and had no problems. Ditto AJL that no diaper contains pee, just poop. However, he didn't ever poop while in it, so I can't speak too well to it's poop containment, but it gets high reviews from others.

I have also used the BG shells and those have been fine, as well.
ditto august, the bummis version works well (it's called a swimmi). they can be found at baby earth.
we also had success with the finis swim diapers. DS pooped in it a few times last summer and it held it all in.
