clogged montgomery gland?

Has anyone had this?

I woke up yesterday to what I thought was a pimple, not on my nipple (where milk duct clogs can be, so I have read) but the edge of my areola.

After a warm shower, I massaged it and felt a pea sized nodule under the skin. I squeezed and some clear, sort of smelly liquid came out.

I called my LC and she thought it was a clogged montgomery gland and that the fluid was sebum, similar to a pimple.

It still hurts today, but I have no fever or other signs/symptoms of mastitis. I am just curious if anyone has had it and how long it took to go away?
