When Katie had cold hands, we put the space heater into her room. Ever since, she wakes up with warm hands now. She sleeps in a fleece footed pjs, with a onesie underneath, and a crocheted blanket on top.
Leah woke up with freezing little hands, too! Except she woke up at 4:00 so I put those no-scratch mittens on her hands and she went back to sleep. She sleeps in a onesie, a sleep sack, and a swaddle around her middle. We also run a warm-mist humidifier in her room which sort of helps, but I'm terrified of it catching on fire so it doesn't do too much.

We mentioned this at Katherine's doctor's appointment on Monday and the pediatrician told us that her hands would get really cold and perhaps turn red or blue (!) but as long as her body was warm not to worry about it. I, too, have put the no-scratch mittens on her at night. I also pull her hands into the sleeves of her wearable blanket.
Re: cold hands!
