DD is a sleeping machine today

in January 2012 Moms

Her nursing sessions have been shorter (10-15 minutes versus the usual 20-25) and she is sleeping like crazy. I am hoping it's a growth spurt, but am worried since I thought she was supposed to nurse more and sleep less.

Anyone else have something like this happen around ~3 weeks?

    Im not nursing but my daughter for the last day or two has been eating less ( she normally does 3 oz but has been doing 1 and 2 oz) and sleeping more wayyy more. Im a bit worried, her doctors appt. is Thursday so ill talk to her doctor then.

    My baby goes back and forth, but today she hasn't slept hardly at all. All she has done is eat.

    Was she eating more before this? Around 3 weeks DD ate like a maniac for a day or 2 and then slept  the next few days away.  Then she grew some more.

    Yeah! She was eating a bunch over the weekend. She's back to eating more today. I weighed her at home (my weight + her - my weight) and it looks like she's gained a few ounces. Fingers crossed the appt tomorrow confirms that!
