I had forgotten about this until it hit after having my 2nd c section last week. You may get sharp pains in your neck, shoulder and arms after having a section. It is referral pain from gas, getting up sooner rather than later will help. But if it happens ask the nurses, right away, for warm blankets to place on your pain. It helps alot.

Re: Gas referral pain after c section
I'm jumped on the bump for any last minute c-sections FYI's & your post was the type of stuff I was looking for!!
I go in seven hours for my Schedule-C --- THANK YOU for your post!!!!
The gas pain was the worst pain I have ever experienced (sorry, ladies).
A heating pad and not getting behind on your pain meds may help.
