Growth spurt?

How do you know LO is having a growth spurt?  He wants to feed every 1.5 hrs, has bad gas, not sleeping well. Introduced the paci which is just a tease to him. My boobs are killing me. Should I just let him keep feeding on demand?  He is 2 weeks 1 day old... So tired...boobs achy...help!

The gassiness wouldn't be related to the growth spurt but it could be related to the wakefulness.  Babies in a growth spurt eat much more often for a couple of days and then spread their feeds out again.  The constant feeding could cause the sleep to be disturbed if they are waking to eat.

You can try gas drops from BRU, maybe that will help with the sleeping?  If it's just a growth spurt, hang in there.  Things will go back to "normal" in a day or two.
