Obviously the best thing about being pregnant, god willing, is that it will result in a take home baby(ies) to love and raise. There are also so many secondary benefits like:
Not crying or getting into a self-pitying punk when receiving or hearing birth announcements. I noticed that this w/e when DH's cousin called to announce the birth of his twins
What are some things you notice no longer make you cry that did pre pregnancy?
Re: Secondary benefits of being of pregnant
I'm not a crier, but I really enjoy not getting my period.
This weekend I found a slight benefit to being pregnant after IF. My cousin in law is 34 weeks pregnant and she has only seen her baby 2 times! She has a u/s at 7 weeks and then one at 20 weeks. I am so happy that I have gotten to see my baby 6 times so far and see how quickly they grow from a bean to a little human. It really has been amazing!

Don't get too used to this ... once you become a "regular" OB patient, the frequency of scans drops dramatically.

I love not having hangovers!! I would totally wash away my IF sorrows with way too much wine on a regular bais and I feel great now....although I would love a nice glass of red wine!
I also love working from home. I lost my twins on a business trip and told my work that I was not traveling this time around because I wanted to be close to my DH and my Dr if something went wrong. They gave me a special assignment! It's great!

I am a crier in general, and add in all of the pg hormones, and I cry way more now than I did when we were ttc! The other day DH and I were laughing about something, and all of a sudden my laughter turned into sobbing and I couldn't stop crying, even though I wasn't actually crying about anything.
I also tend to cry now every time I look at someone's baby pictures. Every time someone talks about their baby. Every time someone sneezes (only a slight exaggeration). LOL. Love the hormones
