I am looking for Valentine's Day arts and crafts ideas for DD1 to make. Any ideas besides drawing and painting? We're mailing "hugs" to grandparents. I'm going to either trace or paint their hands and make prints on construction paper, cut them out, and attach them to either end of a ribbon. I'm still deciding how to word it, but I'm going to write a cute little note telling the grandparents to put a hand on each shoulder for a "hug" from my girls. I might also make "handfuls of love" from them for DH - trace their hands, cut them out, and lay them next to each other palms up, like if you were holding out your hands to cup something. Then glue a heart on them where they meet.
