We are moving to Northern Virginia in June, currently live in Hampton Roads. The areas we are looking at are Burke, West Springfield, Woodbridge, and Arlington. I'm freaking out about being able to find a preschool and I know most already started registration. I read the post below about lining up at and now I'm even more paranoid we won't be able to find anything. Can any of you recommend some good preschools in the areas I listed above or know of a site that has a list of school? We are planning a trip in a few weeks to look at houses and hopefully preschools. Thanks in advance!
Re: NoVa mom's I need help please
Check out the DC board--lots of NoVa moms on there!
Good luck!
What kind of preschools are you looking for? Full day, half day, independent, church?
I am in Woodbridge and there are several good preschools in the area. DS is in Good Shepherd Methodist: https://www.gsumc.net/content.cfm?id=306
Their four year old 5 day program is one of the best around for the church preschools in the area.
A friend sends all three of her boys to Cardinal Montessori: https://www.cardinalmontessori.com/ and is quite happy with it. It has a pretty good reputation around here and has before and after school care.
Here is a blog with reader submitted reviews of schools in Prince William County: https://www.pwcmoms.com/?tab=preschool
