Crowded places with toddlers - I love this idea

I just came across this idea on a Disney vacation website and LOVE it, thought I would share.  I think it is a great idea for anyone going to crowded places with toddlers (or preschoolers) who have a tendancy to run off!  I am always so afraid to lose Tyler, if the wrong person talks to him he just shuts down and screams.

 "I am a father with two children with autism. We made temporary tattoos that said: My name is _____ and I have autism. If I am separated from my parents please call Sam at 555-555-5555 or Jane at 555-444-4444. We put these tattoos on our children's arm. I have been using this method forever! Back in my nanny day whenever we went someplace crowded (Browns Berry Patch, SNMOP, Zoo, etc) I would write my cell phone number on their sticker or bracelet. They were old enough to follow the instruction "if you get lost, find a grown up or police/etc and have them call me".

I thankfully never had to see how well it works but it was great piece of mind.

 Some of those Disney boards have people putting info like that inside clothing (back of shirt,etc)....I would not be ok with someone looking inside my kids clothes for info. I like something on the outside of the clothes or lower arm/hand.

They make those and also allergy bracelets/tattoos.  You can get bracelets with the same, I think I've seen velcro and some sort of silicone.  Definitely a good idea.
