The doctor basically said "give it time." But DD is so itchy and she's in a concert tomorrow and would love for her face to clear up a little before it. Oatmeal products are out for us but any other suggestions are appreciated!
I would approach the same as eczema. Short bath, apply hydrocotisone cream then vaseline as moisturizer. In the am, dampin her skin and do the same. Over the counter hydro should help. DD gets some relief from ice packs.
we just had an allergic reaction to a prescription and used the benadryl cream. IT seems to work. Lats night after her bath I used Aveeno lotion, but it might've been the oatmeal formula which won't help you. poor girl, hope she clears up soon!
