what can I do with this perfume?

I have an unopened bottle of Burberry perfume, 3.3oz.  I got it for Christmas and I don't have a receipt or know where it came from.  I don't know if I like it, and I don't want to open it to find out.

I could go to the counter at Macy's or something and try it, but it's a huge bottle, and even if I did like it I'll never use even half of it before it goes bad.

What should I do with it?  Anyone like the Burberry scent? Can I exchange it for something else at Macy's even if I don't have a receipt?

I'm sure anywhere that sold it (Macy's, Nordstrom, etc) would be find exchanging it for store credit if it's unopened and they can still sell it.  For 78 bucks, I'd certainly try.

I agree, see if they let you exchange it.

As long as it's unopened they will exchange it. Mine was opened and used once so I'm stuck with it.

Go to Nordstrom over Macy's.  With Macy's they put a sticker bar code on it and you can't return it without it.  Nordstrom will take it back without a receipt.

I totally forgot about that!  Hopefully I'll remember to try it out next time I'm at the mall.

I thought Nordstroms took stuff back without the receipt because of the sticker bar code as well. What about Sephora? Do they have it?

ETA: Nevermind, I just remembered that I got some Philosophy stuff last year that Nordstroms took back, even though it didn't have any sticker or anything. But I would still call Sephora first because it's closer. If they carry it, then I think they will take it back too.
