Stay at Home Moms

How would you kill an hour?

I have an appointment at 11:00 that will take about 15 mins or so and then have to pick up DD from preschool by 12:30.  So, I have about an hour to waste since it doesn't make sense to drive all the way home and then back - the appointment is near DD's school.

1.  I don't want to spend any money

2.  all my errands are done

3.  The smell of coffee makes me want to hurl at the moment, so hanging out in a coffee shop is out.

WWYD????

Re: How would you kill an hour?

  • Do you have a book you have been waiting to read or extra magazines you haven't looked at yet. I would park my car, turn on the radio and just read for an hour. I never get an hour to sit and read in my house ever. I have been working on reading the same book for about 3 months now and I am only a third of the way through the book.

  • Honestly? I would probably Bump.

I've already killed soooo many hours in that fashion. :)

  • Is there a library nearby?  I'd sit in the library and look at magazines.  Or go to a nice bookstore where they won't bother you and look at their magazines.
  • I'd probably end up window shopping at Target. Which means that I would probably end up spending money. Haha

  • I'd go to the library and browse around.

  • I think I would have used it to catch up with friends via phone.  It seems impossible to have more than an quick 10 minute or less phone conversation when DD is around.

I hope you found something you enjoyed.

  • I would get a hair cut....but the free hour does not belong to me right now. ;) So if i were you I would read a book or knit, but not sure if you knit. ha!
